Samuel
Adu-Prah
is a Lecturer and GIS LAb Director in the Department
of Geography and Environmental Resources at the
Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Currently he teaches
courses in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Science. He
obtained his Masters of Science degree in Technology Education with
concentration in Computer Networking and Information Technology
at Alcorn State University;
Master of Philosophy degree in Geographic Information Systems and
Remote Sensing at the University
of Cambridge, United Kingdom; and a Bachelor of Science degree
in Geography and Resources Development at the University
of Ghana, Legon.
Adu-Prah's
area of interest include Remote Sensing of the environment, Spatial-temporal
data mining, geographic information science and issues of geovisualization.He
has 10 years experience in managing GIS and Remote Sensing projects.
He has five years experience in teaching GIS and Remote Sensing
courses with a strong background in computational skills.
