Course Description
Global Climate Change focuses on the major issues of global change, including anthropogenic climate change, environmental pollution, land use and land cover change, extinction and biodiversity issues including biological invasions, and potential global change-related impacts on human health. The class will follow a modified seminar format where individual presentations and group discussion will comprise a large portion of the in-class activity.
Course Operation
There are three 50 minute lectures each week. This course is strongly focused on discussion of assigned readings so attending class and being prepared is vital. For more course information see the current syllabus.
