Tricia Peterson, MS 05/1997
Tricia Peterson has been working with a Christian relief and development partnership called Food for the Hungry International (FHI) for the past 6 years in Bolivia. She currently serves as the Environmental Coordinator and is responsible for environmental monitoring of projects funded through the US Agency for International Development (USAID). Projects include: rural road rehabilitation, irrigation systems, water and sanitation systems, floodwalls, silos, stables, sheepfolds, processing centers, construction of staff housing in rural work zones, housing improvement for reducing Chagas disease, a rural boarding school, greenhouses, reforestation with native species, conservation of the endangered Red-fronted Macaw (Ara rubrogenys) among other projects. Tricia plans to leave FHI/Bolivia in March 2005.
