Hi Everyone,

I graduated from SIU in 1966.  After graduation I spent three years in the Marine Corp (one in Vietnam).  Upon returning home I taught Geography, History, and Science at the Junior High level for one year, and then entered the field of Environmental Health.  I worked for 31 years for the Macomb County Health Department (Michigan) as an Environmentalist specializing in soils as related to sewage disposal and landfill use.  My physical geography and geology background was put to use.  I retired in 2000, and have kept busy with a number of part time jobs related to farming and agriculture.  I also cut and sell fire wood as I am a work-oriented person.  Winters are now spent in Zephyr Hills, Florida as soon as the fall work is done.
